about

**2019 MIX**

This album was originally released on Japanese label Schole in 2009. I had been recorded this album during my wife had a baby and imagined the light would be coming.

The theme of the album is literally “family.” Marriage and having a baby made me think about family more and more.

I catch the image and ideas from our daily life, such as a pond next to our house or our small garden.

Musically I used many acoustic instruments such as Clarinet, Trombone and Violin in the album.

These instruments traces beautiful melodies softly. Akiko Igaki who are known as Tayutau plays great violin.

The finger-picking-style guitar plays warm minimalism like a wave, and the melody that reminds people's memories are gentle and friendly. ... more
